Location - Fairy Meadows (Bill Putnam Hut)

The Northern Selkirks are one of the best places for ski mountaineering on the planet; deep snowpack, big glaciers, and technical peaks to climb and ski. The Bill Putnam Hut is situated in the upper reaches of the treeline, so you can walk straight out the door and get after it. This means we won't be wasting time bushwhacking in the valley floor in the morning darkness, we walk straight into the alpine and save our energy so we can learn day after day without getting exhausted......... Actually we'll still probably get exhausted, but in the Alpine!! 😉
